Daniel McDowell, associate professor of political science, joined Yahoo Finance Live to discuss how the Russia-Ukraine war may affect the U.S. dollar's dominance and how other countries like China are looking to expand their currencies. "Is the U.S. dollar dominance in threat? No.," says McDowell. "I think that this will have an impact, though, on dollar use, though it will be probably marginal, and it will be kind of isolated in certain pockets."
