Bio
Fatma will study comparative politics with a focus on competitive authoritarian regimes. In particular, she wants to focus on how right-wing populists under such regimes instrumentalize the media to ensure public support and consolidate their power.
Originally from Turkey, she holds a B.A. in international relations from Ankara University and an M.A. in Turkish studies from Sabanci University.
