Citizenship and Civic Engagement Undergraduate Program

At Maxwell, we believe good citizenship is not just a concept. Good citizenship is the active pursuit of a more harmonious and inclusive society by civically engaged citizens, primed with the knowledge and experience to put ideas into action.

As a student majoring in citizenship and civic engagement (CCE), you will shape your own future while creating positive change in the lives of others. This double-major program is designed to focus and deepen your community engagement skills around your unique area of interest, combining a 33-credit B.A. in CCE with a required second major of your choosing (often in one of the social sciences).
