Bio
Why do people take on the pain of archiving? Sadam engages with this question through the interplay of time and space in areas of protracted conflict. He is also interested in the nature of public memory-making through the study of embodied archives.
Prior to his studies at Syracuse, Sadam was at Ashoka University in India where he completed his advanced major in political science. His dissertation focused on judicio-constitutional mechanisms and their effective role in state repression. Sadam was also a research associate at the Trivedi Centre for Political Data at Ashoka University.
