Bio
Lucia is a doctoral student in the Department of Economics. She is a
Peruvian economist from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in
Lima, Peru. Prior to coming to Syracuse University, Lucia was a research
assistant in the Institute of Peruvian Studies. She has worked on
database analysis as well as econometric and statistical analysis
related to program evaluation. Her research interest focuses on the
human capital development of women and how this is changing among
generations. Lucia’s concerns and interests turn around labor market
analysis, gender and development economics.
