Bio
Amber graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Criminal Justice before going on to work in the criminal justice system working with incarcerated youth in Juvenile Hall, then moving on to work as a Case Manager in a federal detention facility with ICE and the US Marshal Service. Her research centers on the impact of gender and sexuality on gang affiliation while incarcerated.
