Bio
Falak is from Karachi, Pakistan. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in politics and international relations from the University of Kent (England), and a master's in international relations from the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain). Prior to starting a Ph.D. at Syracuse University, she worked in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors in Karachi.
Research Interests
Status seeking in the international system, international legitimacy, and voting behavior in the UN.
