Avital (Tali) Datskovsky is a doctoral student in cultural anthropology. Her research interests include the impact of conservation policy and tourist activity on displacement of forest dwellers in Rajasthan, India, as well as the relationship between humans and the forest. She holds a B.A. (2013) from the University of Chicago in south Asian languages and civilizations and an M.S. (2018) from SOAS University of London in Development Studies, Contemporary India.
