Bio
Fiona Jones is a doctoral student focusing on archaeology. Fiona received a B.A. in biological anthropology with a minor in law from the University at Buffalo in 2021. She has extensive archaeological experience in cultural resource management and public archaeology in New England beginning in 2016.
Before coming to SU, Fiona served as the NAGPRA Coordinator for the University of Rhode Island. Fiona's research interests include bioarchaeology, non-invasive geophysical methods such as ground penetrating radar, and human rights as they apply to archaeology.
