Bio
Nastassia is a Ph.D. student in the Sociology Department. She is from Minsk, Belarus. Between 2016 and 2018, she worked as a researcher and trainer project manager at the Office for Rights of People with Disabilities in Minsk, Belarus. Nastassia co-conducted studies on public attitudes towards persons with intellectual and/ or psychosocial disabilities, the development of community-based services, and media representations of persons with disabilities.
In 2020 -2021, she had an internship with the International Disability Alliance (IDA) nonprofit organization (Geneva, Switzerland). During the internship, Nastassia supported research on various topics, including alternative care for children with disabilities, employment of persons with disabilities, and social problems of Indigenous women with disabilities. Currently, Nastassia is interested in health and healthcare access among persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Sociology of Disability, Medical Sociology, Aging and the Life Course, Gender, Quantitative and Mixed Methodology.
