Ross Freedenberg is a doctoral candidate in cultural anthropology. His research focuses on temporal experience, knowledge practices, and transnational connection in ritual, based in fieldwork with Indo-Caribbean worship communities in Guyana, the United States, and Canada. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in anthropology from Syracuse University.
