MES, PARCC, and DIME present: Panel Discussion

Religion, Democracy, and Conflict in International Relations Identity politics that focus on religious, ethnic or racial characteristics are nothing new, however many modern conflicts are purported to be based on these grounds despite the relevance of more wide-reaching questions relating to democracy, tolerance and multiculturalism today. This panel will examine these issues in international contexts, particularly those related to American and European relations with Islam and the Middle East. Panelists: Miriam F.
