Beyond Theory: A Real Look at African Development Efforts A panel of SU community members share their first hand experiences with various African development programs and techniques. All interested members of the campus community are welcome to contribute their experience or participate in the discussion.   Tracy Verrier is currently pursuing graduate degrees in International Relations and Economics at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Drew University in Madison, NJ.  Through her travels to Kenya and Rwanda, she has developed and begun to explore her interests in human rights and development. After completing her degrees, Tracy hopes to pursue a career doing research for human rights advocacy. Refreshments will be served

We’re Turning 100!


To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
