The Institute for the Study of the Judiciary, Politics and the Media will recognize Constitution Day with a public lecture on "The Dynamism and Activism of the Roberts Court" by SCOTUSblog writer Lyle Denniston. The lecture takes place Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 4-5:15 p.m. in 204 Maxwell Hall, and is free and open to the public. Additionally, Denniston will deliver a lecture at 2 p.m. on Sept. 20 in 060 Eggers Hall, entitled "9/11 Plus Ten: Entering the Age of Permanent War."

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
