Add to: Outlook, ICal, Google Calendar

Everyone is invited to come celebrate the Maxwell School's history and spirit during two 90th anniversary events, spread across two days (October 9 and 10) and throughout the Maxwell complex. It’s Orange Central weekend, and we hope alumni and other visitors will join Maxwell’s students, staff, and faculty in the fun

On Thursday, 2-4 p.m., and Friday, 1-3 p..m., all are invited to complete their "Passport to Our Past.” Grab a custom “passport” and then visit each of Maxwell’s 20-plus departments, centers, and institutes. Also, the entire SU community and all visitors should join us for a 90th anniversary party on Thursday, October 9, 4-6 p.m., in the Joseph A. Strasser Commons.

Other 90th anniversary events during Orange Central include:

The Herbert Lourie Lecture on Health Policy

An Alumni Panel Discussion: The Maxwell School / Teach for America Connection

A Celebration of 30 Years of Community Service

The Tanner Lecture on Ethics, Citizenship, and Public Responsibility

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
