VIRTUAL: Faculty Conversation with Professor David H. Bennett

Maxwell alumni and friends are invited to join us on Friday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. EST for our first virtual alumni event of 2021. In celebration of his 60-year teaching career, Professor Emeritus David H. Bennett will reflect on the 2020 election in “American Democracy in Crisis: Reflections on Election 2020.”

A prolific scholar of 20th-century American history and a Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professor for Teaching Excellence, Professor Bennett taught his recent-history course, Modern History, 1960 to Present, for the final time during the fall 2020 semester.

Douglas Meredith Professor for Teaching Excellence at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where his research interests include political extremism in America, 20th-century American history, and modern military history.
