Dyane Epstein - Senior Coordinator, International Organization for Migration
Dyane Epstein has over 26 years of professional
experience, including over 20 years with the International Organization for
Migration (IOM), UN Migration Agency. Ms Epstein is currently the IOM Senior Global
Coordinator for the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
and Sexual Harassment based in Geneva, Switzerland (Headquarters). Previously
Ms Epstein was the IOM Regional Director a.i. for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia based in Vienna,
Austria; IOM Chief of Mission in Mogadishu, Somalia; IOM Chief of
Mission in Accra, Ghana; IOM Deputy Chief of Mission in Harare, Zimbabwe; IOM Head
of Talent Management, Human Resources Division in Geneva, Switzerland; and IOM Field
Office Coordinator in London, England. Before joining IOM, Ms Epstein worked
and lived in Osaka, Japan and New York. Ms Epstein holds a Master of Science
(MSc) from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts (MA) from Columbia
University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Syracuse University.

Sarah Hewitt - Community Engagement Coordinator, InterFaith Works in Syracuse, NY
Sarah Hewitt is the Community Engagement Coordinator at InterFaith Works in Syracuse, NY. In her role as Community Engagement Coordinator, she works with local stakeholders, develops and disseminates program informational materials and brochures, organizes a volunteer base for client/mentor matches and communicates with service providers to build new partnerships and identify prospective beneficiaries. Originally from Reno, Nevada, she received her Bachelor's degree in Citizenship & Civic Engagement and International Relations in 2018 from Syracuse University. After graduation, Sarah taught English in Chile before returning to Syracuse to work for Hopeprint and the CCE office at SU. She received her Master's in Public Administration from Maxwell this past summer.

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
