How do you explain something as vague, controversial, and all-encompassing as Brexit? The U.K.'s withdrawal from the EU after 47 years as a member has touched every aspect of British life, has destroyed prime ministerial careers, has been a defining issue of European politics, has been a pointer to global trends such as populism, and despite hopes it would do so, has spectacularly failed, as David Cameron hoped it would, to 'settle Britain's European question once and for all.' By breaking down Brexit into 47 stories told through 47 objects, Tim Oliver sets out to explain the causes, consequences and meaning of Brexit.

We’re Turning 100!
To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
