This Presidents’ Day, in observance of Black History Month and nearly two years after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, please join us in person—or via Zoom—for a conversation with journalist, podcaster and advocate Terrell Jermaine Starr to discuss:

  • His experiences covering the war in Ukraine as an independent, African-American journalist
  • Why Americans should care what happens in Ukraine
  • How voters of color can learn more about and exert more influence on U.S. foreign policy
