The History Department Future Professoriate Program Presents the 16th Annual Conference

Watershed Moments: Pivotal Transformations in the Past, Present, and Future

Syracuse University’s Future Professoriate Program invites scholars to explore “Watershed Moments” at the 16th Annual Graduate Conference. This theme examines pivotal intellectual, cultural or political events and turning points, considering shifts in global and regional contexts, the impact of key actors, or broader changes. We welcome papers from all disciplines and methodologies.

The keynote speaker for the conference is John Daly, professor of United States history at SUNY Brockport. His research focuses include U.S. Civil War, modern U.S., religion, morality and culture.
