Conflict Management Center Workshop - Design Thinking

This interactive and immersive workshop will introduce participants to design thinking, a participatory approach to addressing complex problems. During the workshop, participants will learn about and experience five steps in design thinking:

  1. Selecting and exploring a “wicked problem”
  2. Using lateral thinking strategies to bring clarification, definition and shared ownership to the problem
  3. Utilizing collective brainstorming techniques to generate ideas that may address aspects of problem
  4. Employing a range of techniques to analyze, categorize and organize ideas
  5. Deciding on how to use some of the ideas to take next steps
