Conflict Management Center Workshop - Design Thinking

This interactive and immersive workshop will introduce participants to design thinking, a participatory approach to addressing complex problems. During the workshop, participants will learn about and experience five steps in design thinking:
- Selecting and exploring a “wicked problem”
- Using lateral thinking strategies to bring clarification, definition and shared ownership to the problem
- Utilizing collective brainstorming techniques to generate ideas that may address aspects of problem
- Employing a range of techniques to analyze, categorize and organize ideas
- Deciding on how to use some of the ideas to take next steps
