PAIA Departmental Seminar Series: Paul Light

Paul Light (New York University) will present “Still Searching for Social Entrepreneurship after all these Years: Reflections on field building." 

Prof. Light will be visiting us from the New York University Wagner School of Public Service where he is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Public Service. He is the founder of NYU’s Global Center for Public Service and previously held positions at the Brookings Institution, Pew Charitable Trusts, and at the University of Minnesota’s Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. He is recognized as a leading expert on social innovation and social entrepreneurship (the approach in which individuals develop non-profit or private sector solutions that directly solve social problems).
