    The Maxwell Economics program is a high-quality undergraduate program within which we have two alternative tracks, BA and BS. In both tracks we provide a strong foundation in micro- and macroeconomics through our introductory and intermediate courses, which is followed by more specialized courses or electives. Undergraduates can choose from a wide range of electives in International Economics, Labor Economics, Public Economics, Urban Economics, Health Economics, Development Economics and Econometrics.     The Center for Policy Research (CPR) conducts interdisciplinary research and related activities in social sciences and public policy, including aging and health studies, education finance and policy, public finance, social welfare, poverty, and income security, urban and regional studies, and econometrics methodology. To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
