Dustin Brown ’01 MPA was appointed to serve as a senior fellow at the Volcker Alliance, a nonprofit organization, established to advance effective management of government to achieve results that matter to citizens. At the Volcker Alliance, Brown will focus on efforts to increase the effective interaction of government with universities. In order to fill this position, Brown is taking a six-month sabbatical from his role as the deputy assistant director for management at the US Office of Management and Budget (OMB) The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) serves the President of the United States in overseeing the implementation of his vision across the Executive Branch. Specifically, OMB’s mission is to assist the President in meeting his policy, budget, management and regulatory objectives and to fulfill the agency’s statutory responsibilities.
