Ekbia Attends Conferences in DC and New York City on AI Policy

University Professor Hamid R. Ekbia attended the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) conference held in Washington D.C, where he was a participant in the panel discussion, "The Impact, Implications and Opportunities of AI.”
The panelists examined how AI can help our schools grow and how it affects pedagogy, research and the student experience. There were additional discussions about curriculum revisions, how to manage workplace changes, and the need to better prepare students and the civic communities we work for in the new AI future.
Ekbia also led a workshop and panel discussion at SEICon in New York City, which examined AI policy, media and journalism, ethics, regulation, governance, and AI's future in sports and entertainment.
