Fethi Keles, a part-time instructor for the anthropology department, has been selected by the American Anthropological Association (AAA) as one of 20 individuals who will take part in the OpEd Project's "Write to Change the World" core workshop.

The OpEd Project is a think tank and leadership organization comprised of a community of journalists and thought leaders who actively share knowledge, resources, and connections, and accelerate the ideas and impact of underrepresented voices.

The workshop is virtual, and is based on time-tested models of transformational learning. It will challenge Keles and other participants to think in new and bigger ways in order to have a greater impact on the world. Participants will emerge with concrete results, including op-ed drafts, and access to a national network of journalist mentors.
