A Morning Consult survey shows that supermajorities of adults in Europe's five largest economies support the resettlement of Ukrainian refugees, but support for Syrian and Afghan refugees falls shorter, even as a food crisis might send people fleeing from those regions. "The true test," says Osamah Khalil, associate professor of history, "is whether these attitudes will be reflected in humanitarian assistance on the ground and the resettlement policies adopted by Western European governments."
