On Wednesday, President Trump signed into law the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, a rewrite of the rules of trade with Canada and Mexico. According to Professor Mary Lovely, the impact will be modest. "It’s a blip," Lovely told the Associated Press. "The main thing is what it isn’t: It isn’t a continuation of uncertainty, and it isn’t a major disruption" to business. She was also cited in the Xinhuanet article "Roundup: Trump signs new trade deal with Canada, Mexico into law." 01/31/20
