Maxwell alumnus named one of New Jersey’s most influential millennials

Marshall Spevak ’10 BA (PSc) was named one of New Jersey’s most influential millennials by InsiderNJ in September 2019. Spevak received this award as recognition of his extensive work as a political operative at the New Jersey Statehouse.
Spevak is vice president of public affairs at MWWPR, an integrated public relations agency with offices across the United States and the United Kingdom; he is based out of their Trenton, New Jersey, office. The company was recently named Independent Public Relations Consultancy of the Year for Americas by the International Communications Consultancy Organization for a third consecutive year.
Before joining MWWPR, Spevak worked as deputy executive director and chief of staff at the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority in New Jersey and was responsible for coordinating its administrative, operational, and financial affairs. He was also chief of staff to Assembleymen Vince Mazzeo and John Armato in the New Jersey State Assembly. He recently completed a five-year stint as president of the New Jersey Young Democrats.
