Tajanae (Taj) Harris '20 BA (Anth) and Marcus Lane '19 BA (PSt) were among the 2018 recipients of the Mark and Pearle Clements Internship Award. The award is intended to enable Syracuse University students to undertake unique internships that wouldn't be possible without financial help. Clements Interns will usually spend one summer away from the University, working under the guidance and supervision of an expert who can help them connect their academic learning to real world application. Harris will spend her summer as an oral history research intern for the Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation and Lane is working as a community organizing intern for The Bronx Defenders.
