Brexit negotiations have reached a "critical stage," according to the U.K. government, but what that all means for the prospect of a Brexit deal is still unclear. Deal or no deal, it’s unlikely that Brexit ends this month. Given the short timeline, the U.K. and EU will likely have additional arrangements and details to work out after the transition period ends. "I think this is the forever Brexit," says Glyn Morgan, associate professor of political science and director of the Center for European Studies at the Moynihan Institute.
