Among graduate students at Maxwell this fall are its two new Robertson fellows — the third pair funded by the Robertson Foundation for Government.

The program is designed to motivate exceptional students to prepare for federal careers in foreign policy, national security, and international affairs. Students are funded for two years and then begin careers in federal government.

This year’s fellows are G. Oliver Elliott, from Santa Barbara, California, who is concentrating on global and national security, particularly in South Asia; and Kate Simma, from Richardson, Texas, interested in economic development and post-conflict reconstruction in Latin America. Both are pursuing an MPA/IR degree.
