Jessie Speer, a PhD candidate in geography, was awarded a 2017 Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowship for her dissertation, "Reimagining Home: Homeless Narratives As a Critique of Urban Housing." The fellowship supports a year of research and writing to help advanced graduate students in the humanities and social sciences in the last year of PhD dissertation writing. 05/04/17
