Research by Emily Thorson, assistant professor of political science, was cited in the Pacific Standard article "How to Tackle Conspiracy Theories in Politics." In a report for the Knight Foundation published earlier this year, Thorson found that relatively simple corrections could reduce some misperceptions by as much as 20 percentage points or more. 08/15/18
