As Russia's war on Ukraine continues, Finland and Sweden are making moves toward possible NATO membership in order to gain allies as protection against Russia. Michael Williams, associate professor of public administration and international affairs, spoke with KCBS Radio about the process and timeline for joining NATO and the validity of Putin's threats in response to the prospect of the two countries joining the alliance.
