Janet Wilmoth, professor of sociology, was elected as treasurer of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to the field of aging. Elected officers are chosen by GSA’s membership, which consists of more than 5,500 researchers, educators, and practitioners. Wilmoth will assume her new role at GSA’s 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place from November 14 to 18 in Boston, Massachusetts. 04/18/18
