"Corruption in the Republic of Atlantikk" is a simulation designed to illuminate the challenges and complexities of public administration, corruption and sustainable development in an international setting characterized by significant ambiguity, expectations for collaboration, and divisive organizational politics. This simulation requires actors from eight organizations to come together and negotiate reforms for combating corruption in the Republic of Atlantikk. The role play helps students identify positions and interests, understand the role of values in conflict situations, and develop skills and capacities in conflict analysis and resolution, negotiation, facilitation, and collaboration. It also provides background about how corruption affects public institutions and the tools that can be used to address it. This simulation can be used in a broad range of courses, including but not limited to public administration, public policy, public ethics, political science, conflict resolution, collaboration, international relations, and sustainable development, among others.
