Bio
Mitch is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs. He grew up in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. Mitch earned a B.A. and an M.P.A at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he also worked for the Institute for Research on Poverty. Prior to joining the Maxwell School, Mitch worked in state government as a budget and policy analyst for Wisconsin’s Medicaid program. He is interested in anti-poverty programs and their consequences for health and wellbeing. Mitch works with Professor Sarah Hamersma.
