Jing (Lex) Lu ’13 M.Phil. (Hist)/ ’16 Ph.D. (Hist)
recently published his first monograph, “Appearance Politics. Legitimacy Building in Late Imperial and Modern China, Ithaka/London” (Cornell University Press, 2024), based on his Ph.D. thesis. Supervised by Maxwell Professor of History Norman Kutcher, the book analyzes the political imagery of male leaders in China.

joined Current (Fintech) in New York City as head of risk and fraud operations. She is responsible for fraud prevention, risk aversion processes, dispute management and first line compliance. Current is a financial technology platform built to help with budgeting, saving and investing.
Parker L. Nash ’21 M.P.A.
is a government relations specialist for The German Marshall Fund of the United States. Based in Washington, D.C., he spearheads the organization’s work with U.S. policymakers engaging with officials nationwide through transatlantic study tours, public diplomacy initiatives and policy work.
Suzanne L. Pike ’97 M.P.A.
has been named associate provost of academic support and global initiatives for Hofstra University on Long Island, N.Y. She manages and resolves academic concerns and creates new international opportunities for students. Pike has held various leadership roles with the provost’s office and career services at Hofstra for 25 years.
Todd I. Selig ’91 B.A. (Hist)
has been named 2024 Member of the Year by the Municipal Management Association of New Hampshire. The award honors outstanding service and excellence in local government. Selig is the town manager of Durham, N.H., and is one of the longest continually serving community managers in the state.
Mark R. Stover ’94 B.A. (PSc)
was recently named executive director of the Texas Solar+Storage Association, the statewide trade association dedicated to the expansion of solar power and energy storage resources. Stover has over 25 years of external affairs experience in the electric power industry.
Kamile Kralikaite ’24 B.A. (IR)
made history representing Lithuania in rowing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. She and her pair partner, Ieva Adomavičiūtė, placed fifth in the women’s pair final—Lithuania’s best finish for the event.

was recently named president and chief executive officer of Wesley House Community Services, a nonprofit in Louisville, Ky., that strives to support those facing adversity. He recently helped secure a $50,000 award through Spectrum's Community Center Assist Program to support programs to help local adults secure employment.
Josephine Galdamez ’23 M.P.A.
was recently appointed as intergovernmental affairs coordinator for the City of Syracuse. Her new role supports government partners, coordinates funding requests and oversees several community initiatives. Prior to this, Galdamez served as a housing aid case manager for Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County.

joined Cornell University's Department of Classics as a graduate student fellow after holding a fellowship position in the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Classical Studies.
Parker L. Nash ’21 M.P.A.
recently started a new position as senior program coordinator with the geostrategy north team at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, a Washington, D.C.- based nonprofit. He manages programs focused on geostrategic issues facing Northern Europe, the Baltic states and the Arctic.

joined the Rochester, N.Y.-based law firm Harter Secrest & Emery LLP as an associate in the commercial and intellectual property litigation practice group. She formerly worked as an intelligence analyst and U.S. District Court clerk in Washington, D.C.

became an impact associate at Protect Democracy, a cross-ideological nonprofit that organizes against the threat of authoritarianism using litigation and legislative and communications strategies. She conducts research, plans events, monitors legislation, and drafts reports and communication materials.
Arianna Galluzzo ’20 M.A. (Anth)
started a new position as associate director of prospect management and research in Yale Law School's alumni engagement and development office. In this role, she serves the law school's fundraising operations and identifies potential donors and new donor prospects.
Kaitlyn M. Menegio-Stahl ’19 B.A. (IR)
has been promoted to an administrative officer in the Office of Multifamily Housing with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Working out of the New York field office, she was selected to participate in a year-long succession management development program.

celebrated her one-year anniversary as a senior grant officer in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Boston Children's Hospital. She previously worked as a grant officer and development associate in the Boston Medical Center Office of Development.

is the director of planning and research at CenterState CEO, a Syracuse-based business leadership and economic development organization. His responsibilities include researching, conducting initiatives, analyzing data and supporting large-scale strategic planning activities.
Mark N. Temnycky ’17 M.P.A./M.A. (IR)
received a client impact award for supporting the director at Aeyon, a business management consulting company, where he serves as a congressional audit liaison. He helped draft the Acquisition Innovation Research Center's congressional reports for fiscal years 2022-24. His writing has been featured and referenced in Voice of America, The Washington Post and Business Insider.

returned to Syracuse University as the executive director of community engagement in the Office of Government and Community Relations. She previously worked with the Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services' School Based Initiatives Division for 10 years.
Jihoon Yu ’10 M.A. (PSc)/ ’14 Ph.D. (PSc)
was promoted to director of the Department of External Relations at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA). Previously a research fellow with KIDA, he is commander of the Republic of Korea Navy and a member of its task force on the CVX light aircraft carrier project. Previously, he was a professor of military strategy at the ROK Naval Academy.
