Policy Studies Student Support Fund
Support the next generation of policy studies students with a gift to the Policy Studies Student Support Fund, established to support undergraduate teaching assistants and other undergraduate opportunities consistent with Bill Coplin's vision of undergraduate education.
Created in 1976, the policy studies program emphasizes the fundamental skills required for career and citizenship success. Since 1977, more than 40,000 students have taken the introductory course, PST 101: Introduction to the Analysis of Public Policy—at Syracuse University or through more than 50 high schools in the northeast U.S.
The policy studies curriculum builds on a strong foundation in public affairs, social sciences, management, education, communications, visual arts and more. Students don’t just study the process of how to influence and shape policy, they learn to apply it.

I am Maxwell.
As a first-generation college student, I was never passionate about school until I entered the policy studies program and found what I was truly good at. The program motivated me to make the most of my college experience and gain skills in a variety of different fields. I was able to triple-major. This desire for growth and development led me to pursue my Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) and a data analytics certificate. At graduation, I accepted a position in D.C. that will allow me to apply everything that I’ve learned in college. My parents and I could not be happier with this outcome, and we attribute a lot of my success to the policy studies program.
