Jen Psaki, press secretary for the White House, is expected to leave her post and go to MSNBC, seemingly negotiating the deal while still serving as the press secretary. "Her relationship to the media is somewhat analogous to the relationship of a congressional staff member to a lobbying organization," says Grant Reeher, professor of political science.
