Stone He appointed executive director of Binghamton Discovery Center

Jessica Stone He ‘03 MPA was named the executive director of the Discovery Center in Binghamton, New York. In this new position, Stone He will help expand the museum’s services and engagement with its surrounding community through updating its technology and infrastructure. She will also help build the Discovery Center’s collaborative partnerships with other community leaders
Located in New York’s Southern Tier and now in its fourth decade, the Discovery Center is a hands-on children’s museum that seeks to pedagogically use play in order to enhance children’s learning and exploration. It offers a range of weekday preschool activities, an after-school program, weekend programming, and summer camps to help children kinesthetically engage with their surroundings.
Stone He has worked in nonprofit development for more than 15 years. Prior to joining the Discovery Center, she was the chief development officer at the Roberson Museum and Science Center, also in Binghamton. She is also a board member of Tioga County Rural Ministries and a former board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Finger Lakes Chapter, the YWCA of Binghamton, and the Endicott Rotary Club.
